About us
The website is operated by RenewByte (the registered business name is shown in the website footer). References to "we", "us" and "our" mean RenewByte. References to "you" mean the person using the website or placing an order.
Using the website
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account password confidential. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You must not misuse the website — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service, scraping content at scale or submitting false information.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Products and descriptions
Our products are refurbished laptops and accessories. They have been previously used, then inspected, tested, repaired where necessary and graded. We describe each laptop's specification, condition grade, battery health and inclusions as accurately as we can. Minor variations in appearance within a condition grade are normal. Product photos may be representative of the model and grade rather than the exact unit, unless stated otherwise.
Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are an independent seller and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the original manufacturers unless stated.
Prices and pricing errors
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
- Shipping charges and any cash-on-delivery fee are shown at checkout.
- Prices and availability can change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
- If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order even after confirmation, and we will refund any amount paid in full.
Orders
- Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after successful payment (or, for cash on delivery, after order verification).
- We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is out of stock, a pricing error occurs, payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund any amount paid in full.
- Refurbished laptops are often one-of-a-kind units. If the specific unit becomes unavailable, we may offer an equivalent laptop or a full refund.
- We may limit quantities per customer.
Payments
Online payments are processed securely by Razorpay. By paying, you confirm that you're authorised to use the payment method. We verify every payment on our servers before confirming an order. We don't store card details.
Delivery, returns and warranty
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds policy. Hardware defects are covered by our Warranty Policy for the period shown on each product page. These policies form part of these terms.
Software and licences
Laptops are supplied with a genuine operating system where stated on the product page. Other software is not included unless specified. You are responsible for complying with the licence terms of any software you install.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of data, profits or business opportunity.
- We are not responsible for data stored on devices you return or send for repair. Please back up your data.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The content on this website — text, graphics, logos, photos and code — belongs to RenewByte or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place an order applies to that order.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at the city of our registered office shall have jurisdiction over any dispute. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
